Back again by popular demand, the 3rd Annual San Francisco Botanical Gardens Urban Permaculture Design Certification course.
Learn how to design from within nature
and to create sustainable living systems. Beginning with thoughtful and
protracted observation, and leveraging the resilience, diversity and
stability of natural ecosystems, Permaculture offers a new way to look
at designing practical systems for providing our food, medicine, energy
and shelter in a truly sustainable fashion.
The class will take place over six weekends this summer beginning in
June with optional workdays and study groups and cover all topics and
course requirements for completing a Certificate in Permaculture
Design. Most class meetings will be held at the Garden with field trips
to nearby sites. This is an engaging course taught in a progressive
environment. It just may change the way you see your role in the care
of the Earth.
All the required topics of a PDC as well a additional additional focus
on urban issues, social justice and earth activism. Opportunities are
here for connecting with like-minded folks to create new ventures.
Co-create community that will last for a lifetime! Transform your life! This is much more than a gardening course.
