The Urban Alliance hosted another successful playshop on Sunday, February 19th around the practice of Non-Violent Communication (NVC). Over 50 teachers, students, healers, green business people and community members gathered in the Valencia Gardens Community Center to learn more about this practical and powerful technique for developing compassion and understanding in our relationships. Facilitator Matthew Blom's straight talk about communication elicited question after question from an enthusiastic audience eager to put NVC's simple principles to practical use.
